The NFL regular season came to a close on Sunday night after all franchises played their Week 17 fixtures. Super Bowl LV and all of the excitement that comes with it is not far away.
One event we all look forward to every year is the Super Bowl half-time show. In February, R&B superstar the Weeknd will be entertaining us all at half-time of Football’s biggest event in the calendar.
The Canadian singer has expressed how excited he is to be able to perform at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida on February 7:
“We all grow up watching the world’s biggest acts playing the Super Bowl half-time show and one can only dream of being in that position. I’m humbled, honored and ecstatic to be the center of that infamous stage this year.”
The Weeknd joins the likes of Michael Jackson, Beyonce and Justin Timberlake in the Super Bowl half-time show Hall of Fame. Here was last year’s Super Bowl half-time show with Shakira and Jennifer Lopez.
