The NFL’s Super Bowl is one of the most-watched sporting events in the world, routinely pulling in around 100 million total viewers every year. Not only is this a football game, but it’s a spectacle with its halftime show performance.

Between the national anthem performance, commercials, and halftime show, the Super Bowl is a massive event within pop culture.

With that, the NFL has a notable act every year to perform at the Super Bowl halftime show. And it’s always someone who’s world-renowned.

For years, fans have been asking for Metallica to perform, but they haven’t yet. However, the NFL did have an all-time performance for Super Bowl LVI with Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, and Kendrick Lamar.

To some, this was the best halftime show ever yet to others, they cite performances over the years from Prince, Michael Jackson, and Justin Timberlake/Janet Jackson.

Yeah, remember that Jackson/Timberlake moment?

Here, we’ll take a look at the past performers from 2000 to the current day, who’s expected to perform at the Super Bowl LVII half time show, and lastly, take a look at some prop bets associated with the performance.

Who Is Performing At Super Bowl LVII?

In September 2022, it was announced that Rihanna would perform at the Super Bowl LVII halftime show. There’s a chance that her boyfriend, A$AP Rocky, also makes a small cameo. This comes just a few years after the NFL offered her the spot in 2018, but she turned it down due to the NFL’s treatment of former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick.

She was quoted saying, “I couldn’t dare do that. For what? Who gains from that? Not my people. I just couldn’t be a sellout. I couldn’t be an enabler.” She continued, “There’s things within that organization that I do not agree with at all, and I was not about to go and be of service to them in any way.”
