Weekend Sports Roundup: Bettor wins $198,000 from 6-leg parlay!

It was another week full of sporting action, most notably Week 10 of the NFL and Week 11 of the College Football. Sportsbooks also offered bettors the chance to wager on an exciting boxing match-up between YouTube celebrities KSI and Logan Paul at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. The week’s sport was made complete with regular basketball and hockey games, which sprung up a few surprise results.

American sportsbooks had a good weekend overall, particularly due to the Kansas City Chiefs’ surprise defeat to the Tennessee Titans. This game ruined a lot of bets, as 97% and 90% of wagers on the game at FanDuel and DraftKings respectively were on the Chiefs. Mahomes returned to action, but it wasn’t enough to save the Chiefs or the betslips.

One bettor at PointsBet had a particularly rough day on NFL Sunday after points betting on the Saints-Falcons game. A low scoring Atlanta victory lost this bettor $17,500 from $1,000!

There were a number of other surprise victories in this week, including an unbelievable victory for the Miami Dolphins against the Indianapolis Colts. One bettor took advantage of a good week for the underdogs, winning over $198,000 from a $100 6-leg parlay!

We went 3-2 on the NFL this weekend. Our College Football picks were even more successful, as we went 4-1 for the weekend. One lucky player won $17,200 from a $20 wager.

Bettors were also treated to something slightly different this weekend, as YouTube celebrities KSI and Logan Paul battled it out in the ring. The fight was the biggest internet event in history and the most popular white-collar boxing match of all time, drawing in 2.5 million live viewers and 19 million subsequent views.

The fight was won by KSI in a split decision by 55-56, 57-54, 56-55. Imagine betting $30,000 on Logan Paul…

Monday Night Football takes place tonight between the San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks to round-off Week 10 of the NFL. Check out our match preview and free betting pick on site!
