Former title challengers Brian Ortega and Chan Sung “The Korean Zombie” Jung settle their bad blood on Fight Island this Saturday.

Back for another week of fights from Fight Island, the UFC put together a very well rounded card without having to add any top tier names. Headlined by a battle between two scrappy featherweights in Brian Ortega vs Chan Sun Jung, UFC Fight Night also boasts a top tier women’s matchup and a ton of other underrated fighters looking to make a mark.

All odds are from FoxBet Sportsbook.

UFC Record: 22-8

Jimmy Crute vs Modestas Bukauskas

This is a matchup that could be over in the blink of an eye. Both Jimmy Crute and Modestas Bukauskas are looking to make a name for themselves after recently debuting in the UFC and both can easily create a highlight real knockout clip in a matter of seconds.

Crute is the heavy favorite because he is a well-rounded fighter, in his 11 wins he has four by knockout and four by submission. He is a threat on all levels while Bukauskas tries to keep the fight on its feet, he has eight career knockouts in 11 career wins. Both fighters are still green so this might not be the most technically savvy fight but I think we’ll see fireworks just because they each want a win to move them up in the light heavyweight standings. Crute being the more well-rounded fighter definitely gives him the edge, I think he knocks out Bukauskas but if there’s a chance this fight goes to the ground it will favor him even more.

Pick: Jimmy Crute by TKO, KO or Submission -175

Katlyn Chookagian vs Jessica Andrade

Coming into this fight each fighter is at a completely different place in their career. Katlyn Chookagian won her most recent fight and looks to be in peak shape as shown by her performance against Antonina Shevchenko. On the other side of the octagon is Jessica Andrade who has lost her last two fights and seems to be in a bit of a funk. This is the perfect opponent to snap that losing streak though as Andrade loves to attack her opponents relentlessly and constantly charge in. Chookagian tries to keep her distance using the reach advantage she usually boasts but that might not matter against a fighter as aggressive as Andrade. Jessica Andrade is also stronger than her opponent on the ground as well so Chookagian is going to have to fight the perfect match to come out with a win, I don’t see that happening.

Pick: Jessica Andrade moneyline -150

Brian Ortega vs Chan Sun Jung

Both Brian Ortega and Chan Sun Jung are known as some of the biggest scrappers in the entire UFC so watching them go head to head is going to be exciting. Both can hit hard and have shown the ability to take quite a punch so neither of these two will be going down easily. Ortega likes to take the fight to the ground but he might have a tougher time doing that against the Korean Zombie who has a 77% takedown defense. This fight has a good chance of staying on its feet simply because the Korean Zombie does such a great job protecting himself from takedowns and if he does end up on the ground he has yet to be submitted in his career. Ortega

might have his work cut out for him in this one. Many think this fight could end quickly but I see the Korean Zombie fighting his style and staying upright, not necessarily going toe to toe with Ortega but also not letting Ortega get into a rhythm. I think both of these fighters have a solid chance at winning so I’ll take the bet that this fight lasts longer than many expect.

Pick: Over 2.5 rounds +100
