Elite Eight of March Madness 2021 kicked off on Monday when the Houston Cougars knocked out Oregon State to book their place in the Final Four. Baylor then cruised past the Arkansas Razorbacks that same day to join Houston.
This left two more places up for grabs in the Final Four. Gonzaga’s 30th win of the season came on Tuesday after defeating USC 85-66, followed by a narrow victory for heavy tournament underdogs UCLA against the Michigan Wolverines.

Gonzaga’s NCAA Tournament Chances
As the odds to win the NCAA Tournament suggest, Gonzaga are strong favorites to be crowned champions on Monday, April 5. In fact, Gonzaga advanced to its second Final Four with an aggregate margin of victory of 96. This aggregate margin of victory is better than that of North Carolina in 2009, the 21st century’s most dominant national champion.
Gonzaga are currently 14-point favorites at the sportsbooks for their Final Four matchup with UCLA and it would be a huge shock if they were to fall at this hurdle. This bettor at William Hill will be praying Gonzaga continues to dominate for the remainder of the tournament.

Baylor’s NCAA Tournament Chances
A Gonzaga-Baylor matchup in the Championship game has seemed almost inevitable for quite some time now. Everyone wants it. At +250 odds to win the NCAA Tournament, Baylor are comfortably second-favorites.
They take on Houston on Saturday and are 5-point favorites to get the job done. The Baylor Bears have reached the Final Four for the first time since 1950, but many will be tipping them to progress even further.
