Week 2 of the NFL saw some huge betting wins at the American Sportsbooks, including a $375,000 win after the Seahawks 35-30 victory.
What do we love just as much as watching the NFL? That’s right – winning bets on the NFL!
Just like Week 1, the second NFL Sunday of the season brought with it some big betting stories – both good and bad. We’re here to share with you some of these stories.
Let’s kick off our Week 2 betting recap with a HUGE same game parlay win at FanDuel Sportsbook. One player correctly predicted four different touchdown scorers and three different player props in Lions vs Packers. Just $4.51 on this 7-leg parlay won $5000!
This wasn’t the only impressive same game parlay that cashed on Sunday at FanDuel. One player won this 6-leg parlay on the Seahawks game at +3044 odds!
New England Patriots at Seattle Seahawks seemed to be one of Sunday’s standout games in terms of money wagered. At BetMGM, the biggest bet of the day was placed on this thriller which ended 35-30 to Seattle.
Palms definitely would’ve been sweating for this player at BetMGM on Sunday! A huge $375,000 profit as a result.
Over at DraftKings, one player took advantage of the English Premier League being back and placed a 12-leg parlay on a combination of NFL and soccer bets. The $30 parlay won over $5,500. Hats off!
Elsewhere, Bryson DeChambeau stormed to his first major title as he won the US Open at Winged Foot. At 22-1 there were a few winning tickets as a result, including this $75 wager to win $1725!
There are always some bad betting stories to accompany the good. It seemed like everyone was backing the Chiefs to cover the spread and run away with a huge victory against the Chargers on Sunday, but it didn’t quite go according to plan. The Chiefs did win the game, but it was a very close encounter and the game ended 23-20.
98% of the money that William Hill Sportsbook took in was on the Chiefs to cover at around -8.5. That’s a lot of unhappy bettors!
A 10-leg same game parlay on the NBA at FanDuel Sportsbook left one bettor just one selection away from big profit. A $15 parlay on Celtics vs Heat at +14393 odds would’ve returned $2,000 if it wasn’t for the Celtics’ win margin.
We’ll be back next week for another betting recap after NFL Week 3!
