NBA Player Props of the Day: 4 Player Props for Wednesday’s Slate

AmericanBettingExperts’ newest writer, Kevin Davis, picks out the best Prop Bets from Wednesday’s NBA slate.

What is an NBA Player Prop?: An NBA player proposition bet is a bet on the statistical performance of an NBA player for a single game. Sportsbooks offer hundreds of NBA Player Props each day and I comb through all of the New Jersey sportsbooks to get you the best value for my picks of the day.

NBA Player Props of the Day:

Caris Levert (BKN): 25+ Points +184 (PointsBet: Pick Your Own Player Stats)

Caris Levert (BKN): Over 1.5 3-Pointers Made -160 (Bet365)

Andre Drummond (CLE): Under 12.5 Rebounds -125 (PointsBet)

Julius Randle (NYK): Under 1.5 3-Pointers Made -230 (Bet365)

Caris Levert (BKN) vs WAS

Since the All-Star Break the Brooklyn Nets are a different team. The biggest change that the Nets have undergone is adjusting to the absence of Kyrie Irving and his high usage rate. Who has filled the void left by the Kyrie Irving injury? Caris Levert. Levert has led the Nets in Field Goal Attempts in each game since the all-star break and the good news for him is that he gets to play against an up-tempo Washington Wizards team that plays terrible defense. Levert should have no problem hitting at least 2 3-Pointers and 25 points is only slightly higher than what he can normally be expected to score.

Andre Drummond (CLE) vs PHI

Since Andre Drummond was traded from the Detroit Pistons to the Cleveland Cavaliers for a bag of peanuts and a Mariah Carey CD, he has not been the same player. On the mediocre and injury plagued Pistons, Drummond was grabbing an insane number of rebounds as he was happy to eat all the food at the kitchen table. Since Drummond started playing for the equally mediocre Cavs, he must compete equally for rebounds with Kevin Love, Larry Nance Jr., and Tristan Thompson. On the Pistons Drummond averaged 33.8 minutes per game and on the Cavs he is only averaging 24.2 minutes per game. In his last two games he has averaged only 5.5 Rebounds. To make matters worse for Drummond tonight, the 76ers league the league with the fewest rebounds for opposing centers. Based on Drummond getting fewer rebounding opportunities and playing against the 76ers you should be betting against him getting rebounds tonight.

Julius Randle (NYK) vs. CHA

The fact that they are offering Julius Randle at Under 1.5 3-pointers instead of at .5 is an invitation for us to rob the Bet365 sportsbook tonight even at the -230 juice. Randle has gone the last 14 games without having more than one 3-pointer and in those 11 of those games didn’t hit a single 3-pointer. With Randle attempting no more than 4 3-pointers over the last 14 games, to go over Randle will have to have more 3-point attempts than usual and hit them at a 50% clip which is a tight needle to thread. Take the under on this low-yield player proposition.
