Ahead of the 2020 NBA Draft we have selected our three best bets, including our predictions for 1st and 2nd overall pick.

The 2020 NBA Draft did not take place as originally scheduled in June due to the coronavirus, but finally we can all look ahead to the big event on Wednesday. Just like the NFL Draft this year, there will be no in-person draft and instead will be held virtually from ESPN’s headquarters in Bristol, Connecticut.
Here are the top 10 results of the draft lottery:
1. Minnesota
2. Golden State
3. Charlotte
4. Chicago
5. Cleveland
6. Atlanta
7. Detroit
8. New York
9. Washington
10. Phoenix
Placing wagers on the draft always adds that little bit extra excitement. We’ve put together a group of bets that you should definitely consider placing ahead of Wednesday’s event.
Pick 1: Patrick Williams Under 8.5 (-130 at William Hill)
Patrick Williams is one of the youngest players in this year’s draft but the forward has raw talent and big time potential. He scored in double figures in seven of his final 10 games for Florida State and played an integral role in the Noles’ run to the ACC regular-season title and 26-5 finish before the COVID-19 pandemic cut short their contention for a National Championship.
League personnel believe the Detroit Pistons are zeroing in on him at No. 7. Unless the Pistons decide to trade out of the pick, under 8.5 overall pick seems like a great bet.

Pick 2: LaMelo Ball 1st Overall Pick (-200 at DraftKings)
The 19-year old hot prospect from the NBL is a big favorite to be picked first on Wednesday and we believe it will happen. After Ball, Anthony Edwards (+110) and James Wiseman (+900) are being tipped to be called first on Wednesday.
As far as Minnesota is concerned, Ball and D’Angelo Russell make for a good backcourt of combo guards that can push the ball and knock down shots. We expect the two to be teammates next season.

Pick 3: James Wiseman 2nd Overall Pick (+100 at FanDuel)
After LaMelo Ball, James Wiseman is the obvious choice for No. 2. Trades for top-three picks are very rare, so if the Wolves take Ball then the most likely outcome is that the Warriors do not trade the pick and instead take Wiseman at No. 2.
We fully expect James Wiseman to be a Golden State man by the end of the draft and he fits well alongside the Steph Curry/Klay Thompson/Andrew Wiggins/Draymond Green foursome.
