Man City Champions League Preview

As (-220) favorites, there’s no denying that this one is for Man City’s taking.

The UCL is the only major trophy yet to be won by Pep Guardiola and his team. It is no secret that this is the one they’ve been dying to win for years.

And we haven’t even mentioned their current squad yet. That striker they had been looking for ever since Sergio Agüero departed the club has now been found in Erling Haaland. The man is a machine, with 10 goals in 12 Champions League games. That’s an incredible 52 goals in 50 games for Man City.

With the likes of Kevin De Bruyne, Jack Grealish and Bernardo Silva assisting Haaland to reach these numbers, everything is running pretty smoothly in the Manchester City camp. Their defensive unit is impressive too. They have conceded just 2 goals in their previous five matches – and that includes. games against Real Madrid, Chelsea and Manchester United.

Inter Milan Champions League Preview

Although Inter Milan are the underdogs here, this isn’t uncharted territory for the Italian club. Inter have won the Champions League three times, most recently in 2010.

Inter’s knockout run to the Final has included victories against Porto, Benfica, and rivals AC Milan. Not quite the difficult run that Man City faced. But, hey, you’ve got to win the games put in front of you.

Inter Milan recently won the Coppa Italia against Fiorentina and finished 3rd in Serie A. The Champions League would be an extremely welcome addition to existing achievements so far this season. Did you know they were +6500 to win this year’s Champions League at the start of the season?!

One player that Man City defense will need to watch out for is Lautaro Martinez. The Argentinian has proven to be one of the hottest strikers in the world right now. That should be an intense battle on the night.
