Coming off back to back wins, Matt DiLeo previews this Monday Night football matchup.

Bears vs. Redskins Preview
Chicago (1-) has gotten off to a rough start in their attempt to win the NFC North 2 years in a row. They lost to Green Bay at home in week 1 and they barely escaped Denver with a game winning field goal in the final minute. This defense is still legit, but the Bears have scored less than 20 points combined in the first 2 weeks. The Redskins know they are in re-building mode, but Case Keenum is playing extremely well and they had 2 tough divisional games against the Eagles and Cowboys to start their season. They look better than we predicted to start off their season and they should make this interesting as they are home against a team that canβt figure it out offensively right now.
Bears
The Bears hoped to be 2-0 heading into this game in Washington and they desperately need this game as the Packers are off to a commanding 3-0 start with wins against the Bears and Vikings. Trubisky has looked very shaky and honestly down-right awful at some points and he is constantly staying in games due to their defense. If their defense can contain Keenum and the Redskins and they figure out a way to establish the run game early, the Bears should be able to control the entire game. The only problem is they look like they canβt connect on anything and have zero chemistry on the offensive end.
Redskins
The Redskins are off to the start that they predicted, but honestly have been in closer games than they thought. Case Keenum has proven that he can play as a starter and he is utilizing his weapons that no one even knew he had in Washington. They played the Cowboys and the Eagles and I think right now the Bears are worse than both of those teams right now so this could be a close game as well. Adrian Petersen is somehow still a great NFL Running back and Terry Mclaurin has been a fantasy STEAL in the first couple of weeks. The Redskins have a bad defense, but with the Bears struggles as of late they might be bailed out.
Key Stats
- The Bears have won 5 of their last 6 road games.
- The Redskins lost their last 5 at home.
- The Bears have failed to cover in their last 11 games as a road favorite.

Bears vs. Redskins Prediction
I donβt love this game at all again. I donβt think most of America does on a Monday night either. However, the last 2 times I said that I won the bets, so letβs go for round 3. The Bears have been horrible offensively and I think they wonβt figure it out for most of this game. I think the Redskins are home underdogs and they had to play 2 super bowl contenders early, so they might be battle tested. 41% of bets have come in on the Redskins +5 and 56% of Money is on them. This is a slight bet against the public and I’m willing to bite on it. Iβll take the Redskins and the points as I donβt trust Chicagoβs offense and this primetime showdown should be very close throughout the entire game.
