WAG IS BACK AFTER PREDICTING 9-1 IN HIS LAST CHAMPIONS LEAGUE PREDICTIONS. GALATASARAY AND RED STAR BELGRADE ARE ON UPSET WATCH!
If you didn’t read the title of this article, have no idea why you clicked that link in your feed, or simply live under a rock, the Champions League is back. I’m just going to give it to you as simple as possible, I-AM-ON-FIRE. 9-1 in my last 10 Champions League bets and yet nobody has rolled the red carpet out for me. It’s ok though because the Champions League has made me rich, and more importantly the readers, even more importantly me. Let’s see what this brain has got in store for you and yes, upsets are in the air.
Atletico Madrid vs. Bayer Leverkusen
Atletico are looking to stay in the top 2 with a win against Leverkusen who are seeking their first points in the group. Talk about perfect timing for Atletico Madrid as they are playing a Leverkusen side who just got pummeled by Eintracht Frankfurt this past Friday. Atletico has not had much success after beating Lokomotiv Moscow, tying Valladolid and Valencia in La Liga. Both team are struggling to find their form from the start of their seasons, but Atletico is still the stronger side from top to bottom.
- Atletico is unbeaten in last 3 games vs. Leverkusen
- Leverkusen has not scored at Atletico away
- Leverkusen have not lost three CL matches in a row since 02/03
Leverkusen are having a troublesome Champions League campaign. Losing to Lokomotiv was not the best start. Now the Bundesliga side has a tough mountain to climb in Madrid that they will surely fall off. Atletico haven’t heard their home crowd roar after a win since mid September, and they will surely take advantage against a form-searching Bayer Leverkusen team.
Manchester City vs. Atalanta
Atalanta continue their noticeable Serie A run as they visit the British island where Manchester City are awaiting the Italian side. Atlanta wishes their Seria A success would transfer into the Champions League as they search for their first points at the Etihad. Woof. But in luck for Atalanta, City are not “The best team in the World”. Their flaws are beginning to be consistent and that offensive effectiveness are diminishing. But Hey, it’s the Cityzens at home.
- Atalanta are the first Italian team to lose first 2 CL games
- Atalanta hit the over in 3-4 previous matches (All Comp)
Manchester City is going to show Atalanta the way back to the airport because this Italian team has no business in sharing the field with the Cityzens. It’s more of a privilege, but the Cityzens won’t be too comfortable. They have been so consistent up front where the Over has been the best bet. But in recent weeks Manchester City have shown some flaws and with that, the under is the best bet.
Galatasaray vs. Real Madrid
Turkish giants Galatasaray host the former kings of Europe Real Madrid. I could sit here and bore you talking about how Real Madrid is going to win this game with ease because they are at the bottom of the group stages and that there is no shot for Galatasaray to get a shot on goal, well your wrong. Real Madrid sucks. They are comically acting like they care, but you can tell that there is no heart in the team. Benzema could be Reals gateway for adrenaline and the will to fight, but playing in Turkey against some serious soccer hooligans kind of makes you poop your pants.
- Galatasaray only won 1 of last 17 vs. Spanish teams
- Real Madrid aggregate vs. Galatasaray in their last grouping was 10-2 for RM
UOSET ALERT! UPSET ALERT! Yea Yea I know what you’re saying, ‘What an Idiot’, ‘How is this guy writing fro AmericanBettingExperts’, ‘Are we sure this guys watches soccer?’ Well I believe in miracles, and so do the turks. If there is any team to fall, it’s going to be Real.
Juventus vs. Lokomotiv Moscow
Cristiano’s Juventus played hosts to the Russian premier league team of Lokomotiv Moscow. Juventus will need to win this game if they want separation from the 3rd place ultimately making their Round of 16 spot more comfortable. Lokomotiv struggled against Atletico in their last Champions League fixture, losing 2-0 only have 39% possession of the ball. Juve have been on a roll winning six straight fixtures in all competitions. They haven’t lost since Ajax come to town last season.
- Juve has lost 2 of last 38 CL group stage matches
- Moscow has 3 away wins of 17 attempts
- Cristiano has scored on 33 different opponents, looking for his 34th
Juve, Juve Juve. Listen here, you have a wire detached in your brain if you think Lokomotiv Moscow will stand a chance against Cristiano Ronaldo and 10 other people who are wearing the same colored shirt as him. But the bottom line is you need a good bet, and the Over will be your winning bet. Juve is at home, they will get 2 goals in the first half, the Over just makes more sense than the Under
