Blues vs Bruins Preview
The Blues had an amazing opportunity slip through their fingers last night as they could have celebrated their first ever Stanley Cup on their home ice. However, as a hockey fan you have to be ecstatic to be seeing a game 7 in this fantastic series. The Blues fighting for their first ever Stanley Cup while trying to stop another Boston sports team from taking a title once again. This series has been going back and forth and whenever one team seems to be down and out, they bounce right back and make it a series again.
The Bruins played desperate and took advantage of early miscues on the Blues end. A quick 5 on 3 powerplay silenced the crowd and the Bruins took a 1-0 lead. They snuck in 3 more goals on some Blues turnovers as well. To add to that, Rask was phenomenal and with the help of some lucky bounces was able to crush the spirits of the Blues players and fans. They have to be feeling great about themselves as they forced a game 7 and are returning to the Garden.
The Blues looked defeated and frustrated last night as they just couldn’t seem to get anything past Rask in goal. Ryan O’Reilly is still playing the best hockey of his life and managed to put one in the back of the net, but even that one barely snuck in there. Binnington will have to play better and the Blues will need to get the puck deeper in the zone and bully the Bruins on the boards in Game 7 if they want a chance to win.

Bruins vs. Blues Prediction
The biggest game in St. Louis Blues history and they get to play it on the road. I should have known better last game than to expect the Blues to win 3 straight against the Bruins and pull one out at home. Both teams have only 1 win this series on their home ice and the Blues have been getting killed in the games they play at home. However, they have been lights out on the road and as I have said in my previous articles, they always seem to bounce back. I will not be against them come Game 7 as I have seen the trend happen series after series and I do believe they will bounce back and take game 7 in dramatic fashion. I also predicted that the Blues would win in 6 or 7 games and I will stick with that conclusion. Call me crazy but take the Blues and the wonderful price.
