Chris Landry gives his opinion on the key issues of the Week 6 NFL slate and shares his predictions for some of the match-ups.
At American Betting Experts we have our own betting experts who provide free picks for College Football and NFL every weekend, but it doesn’t hurt to get some experts who can see things from a different angle.
That’s why we are going to start an ‘Ask The Expert’ column where we bring in an expert from either the world of betting or the world of sports to share their alternative views on the weekend’s action.
This week we speak to Chris Landry of LandryFootball. Chris was an NFL scout, working under Bill Belichik at the Cleveland Browns and offers insight into tactics and his unique game breakdowns via his podcasts and Twitch shows.
We asked him some questions on the key issues that we face as bettors going into Week 6 and it should be noted that the bets selected have been done by the editor, and not Chris himself, who does not bet on football.
Who wins between the N.Y. Giants and the Washington Football Team?
CL: It’s really a close game as both have issues. Redskins have edge on the DL vs Giants OL which could be the difference but I trust Giants a little bit more.
Which of the two do you think will finish with the better record?
CL: Another tossup that will come down to health. At this point I’d give slight edge to Giants.
How will the Jets fare with Flacco replacing Darnold?
CL: They will struggle as the protection issues are significant and they lack playmakers to hurt you after the catch.
How do you think the Cowboys will perform in their first game without Dak Prescott?
CL: I think they will be run game focused and work play action but if the Cardinals get an early lead, it will make them play lefthanded and cause some problems.
Tampa Bay host Green Bay this week, Brady vs Rodgers – who wins?
CL: Rodgers is playing better but Bucs are at home and playing good defense. Still favor Packers slightly.
Can either of them go all the way and win the Super Bowl?
CL: I like the Packers chances little better at this point but both are playoff teams.
Who is your current pick to win the Super Bowl?
CL: I would rank them in this order ; Chiefs, Seahawks, Steelers.
